Access at Brooklyn Museum
Once a month, people with memory loss due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, or brain trauma, and their caregivers are invited to The Brooklyn Museum’s Brooklyn Afternoons Program. On these days, the museum is open just for them, allowing attendees to spend time with each other and original works of art in order to generate conversation and help these individuals express themselves while living in the present moment.
