I had the pleasure of collaborating with talented choreographer Georgina Bates and the amazing Jihii Jolly on a sound,/film/dance piece about immigration: “Exploring the nuances of inequality and patriotism, illustrating voices of the unheard, dancers dig into stories of life under the radar. This conversation of film and movement centralizes on the pressing issues of belonging; being home in a community that is not one’s own, but can perhaps offer a fresh start.”
